Deodorant stains?

i%26#039;m wearing this dark green top and i let my deodorant sry before i put it on but i still have deodorant stains....how do i get rid of them???

Deodorant stains?
To prevent staining my dark tops, I usually apply the deodorant and wait for it to dry, then get a dry towel and gently wipe over where I applied the deodorant to get rid of excess product.

Also, if I have time, I wear an old top while I finish getting ready, then change into my black top before I leave the house. This way my old top gets stained and my black top stays relatively stain free!

If there is still a little staining, I simply dab at it with a damp sponge.
Reply:i think the best way to get rid of stains is dab with baking soda and a little of lemon juice let sit for awhile then rub and wash.if all that fails try oxyclean powder it gets rid of almost every single stain.i hope that solves your problem. Report It

Reply:Stop wearing deodorant.
Reply:check your washing machine on the door. Like whenever you open it up. Then it should have this chart thing
Reply:I hate when that happens but now I use Sure Crystal (lol this sounds like an advert) and im telling you you can spray it over your top and have no problems!

If they are already on there then uhh I usually get a small towel, run it under warm water and DAB, dont rub otherwise its make the top go out of shape and usually just makes it go deeper into the fabric!
Reply:Well you can get them out with my *** its very potent. NAH SORRY SORRY! i have no clue.
Reply:alum
Reply:dont wear deoderant
Reply:You can buy sponges in boots - they are designed to get deodrant off clothes

Deodorant shopping?

hey i need help picking out deodorant. i tried the gel and it sorta irratated my skin and i dont like the roll on. What deodorant smells good and works good on you. Any suggestions? Thx xoxo

Deodorant shopping?
Try lady speed stick or teen sprint. They smell so so good and they wont damage your skin. try it ,it works. dove is also really great..................secert is the best i use it everyday after dance and the gym

Reply:Ban is pretty good and so is degree
Reply:Secret and dove
Reply:Teen Spirt.......the girl crush...omg SMELLS WONERDUL!!! and the teen spirit sweet strawberries... but the girl crush is sooooooo much better!
Reply:I used to love Secret Platinum. I never sweat with it. However, it has aluminum crystals in it, which might be one of the things that causes Alzheimer%26#039;s Disease. So, I switched to liquid crystal combined with Weleda Wild Rose Spray. On the worst days, liquid crystal alone does not deodorize. When I switched to all natural deodorants, I had some problems finding a good deodorant. A massage therapist advised me to combine the liquid crystal with Weleda deodorant spray. She preferred the sage scent. With this combo, you will still sweat as these are not anti-perspirants, but you will not stink.
Reply:I really like secret (the white stick kind) that smells like coconut, reminds me of summer time! if it gets clumpy or whatever just rub it in with your fingers! Secret also makes a clinical strength deodorant that ive heard works really good. (but i would never spent 10 dollars on deodorant!)
Reply:secret in spanish rose, its yummy

Deodorant - I need to change brands.?

I have used Gillette brand gels for my deodorant of choice for the past 10 or so years.....However, lately I have noticed it does not hold up well if I do any more than a casual day at work (in an office environment) or light activity at home.

I suppose my body chemistry has changed and I may need to change deodorant, but I dont want to go through several brands and find nothing that I like - Any suggestions ??

Deodorant - I need to change brands.?
Mennen musk is what I use... cheap, effective and the scent works with my body chemistry. I notice when I use other brands it seems I can smell the difference in the smell of my body odor.

best to start out cheap and try one that works with your body chemistry. might even be possibly linked to your recent diet and/or meds if your taking any. I am only guessing on this matter for it seems logical enough to suggest.

any rate give a few cheap ones a try and than re-try the one that has done the trick in the past. thats what I do =p
Reply:Degree has really worked for me.

Deodorant allergy, what do i do??

im allergic to deodorant and i dont know why!!..so what can i put to act like a deodorant except baking soda....im using powder right now and i just want to know if its like dangerous or something if i keep using powder on my armpits....

Deodorant allergy, what do i do??
Your only allergic to the toxic chemicals in the deodorant, try using a 100% all natural deodorant. I use an all natural deodorant, it%26#039;s called Terra Naturals. It works great.

http://terranaturals.com/
Reply:There is hypo-allergenic deoderant at Walgreens (pharmacy). No, the powder is not dangerous.

Crystal Body Deoderant

~No Aluminum Chlorohydrate.

~Hypo-allergenic.

~Eliminated odor.

~For men %26amp; women.

~Unscented, non-staining.

~Can be used on underarms or feet.

~100% Natural mineral salts.

~Natural deodorant protection.

~Crystal Stick Body Deodorant is made of natural mineral salts and is completely free of perfumes, chemicals and dyes.

~It eliminates body odor.

~Crystal Stick will leave an invisible protection barrier against odor-causing bacteria on your skin.

~It is unscented, hypo-allergenic, non-sticky, non-staining and leaves no white residue.
Reply:Try something all natural.
Reply:See an allergy specialist, Im sure there are deodorants out there for people with allergies
Reply:Try Corn Starch! Baking soda should be no problem! Allergy is likely to fragrance in the deodorant. Alternitive is to just sit there and stink!
Reply:Do you live in the UK? if you do you can go to Lush where they make a solid deoderant with no chemicals, which is probably whats causing the allergy. I you%26#039;re somewhere else I think that health shops and places that make natural soaps might do solid deoderant too or at least point you in the right direction. Try the internet maybe.

Im the same.

Deodorant question?

i%26#039;ve tried a lot of kinds of deodorant/anti-persperant (degree girl, secret clinical strength, ban, adidas, dove, secret, etc) but none of them seem to work very well. they keep the smell nice but i still end up with little wet circles on my shirts - even if it%26#039;s not hot out or im%26#039; not moving - i could just be sitting at home and within an hour after applying it, i%26#039;ll feel sweat.

what is a good women%26#039;s deodorant/anti-anti perspirant that will stop that? or what is a men%26#039;s one (i heard they are stronger and might work better) that doesn%26#039;t have that really %26quot;manly%26quot; smell to it?

Deodorant question?
I feel ya, sister. I%26#039;m a naturally sweaty girl, and I also do taekwondo, so I know a thing or two about it.

I use either Ban or Secret twice a day, but I know you%26#039;ve already tried them, so let me try to help you out another way,

A lot of an antiperspirant%26#039;s effectiveness has to do with how and when it%26#039;s applied. First make sure your armpit is completely shaved (shave in the shape of a cross to acheive this: up, down, left, right) - even a small amount of hair will hold sweat and odor against the skin.

Then make sure the skin is totally dry - if it%26#039;s damp, it makes it a lot harder for the antiperspirant to soak up sweat later on.

Third, apply liberally. The entire armpit secretes sweat, from top to bottom, so swipe it on two, three, or four times to make sure you have an even coat.

Third, and this going to sound silly, hold up your arms and let the it dry for a few seconds. For obvious reasons the deoderant has to go on soft, but you want it to stay on your skin, not rub off on your shirt, so give it a few seconds to set.

There are prescription-grade anti-perspirants available, if none of this works for you. Some are high-strength formulas available over the counter, others are available through your doctor.

Good luck babe!
Reply:I have the same trouble...those sweat circles are sooo embarrassing. Ive tried almost all those deodorants you listed up there also. Ive finnaly found one that works well for me tho. Its a man deodorant it is the Unscented Speed Stick kind. It has a blue lid and is much less expensive that all those clinical strength crap.
Reply:secret clinicla stregnth should work. are you sure your putting it on before bed cause thats what your supposed to do.

if youve tried putting it on before bed and that doesnt work then ask your doctor
Reply:go to the doctor and try something prescription strength
Reply:I would go to the doctor they probably can fix that

Deodorant makes my armpit area on my clothing smell.?

I have dealt with this since I can remember. It doesn%26#039;t matter what type of deodorant or antiperspirant I use it always ends up making the armpits of my clothing smell like cat pee. I know this sounds crazy but I just figured I would ask to see if anyone knew of a remedy to make the smell go away. No matter what deodorant I use it mixes with my armpits and clothes and makes this awful amonia smell.

Deodorant makes my armpit area on my clothing smell.?
i use rubbing alcohol and cornstarch instead of deodorant. it really works! swab your %26#039;pits with a fair amount of the alcohol, let it dry and then rub a bunch of cornstarch in there.
Reply:i get that problem too. i have to wear black jumpers so people wont notice anything. its really embarrasing considering that im a 16 year old girl. anyway you could try medicated deoderants especially for people who sweat too much, they are supposed to work quite well. look in your local pharmacy :) xx
Reply:baking soda
Reply:you could wash your armpits once a week with lemon, and dab some vinegar on them instead of using deodorant.

Deodorant question?

any deodorant im using lately makes my underarms break out and they itch so bad i get rashes. i have tried anything from secret, dove, sure, and a few cheaper brands like suave and such. ive tried both sticks and the can sprays.

im also getting really dark spots under my arms. what is that from? do i need to apply more often or is the products im using not strong enough?

any suggestions on what i should try next? i work in a machine shop and i need a strong deodorant because im active and move alot all day and sweat alot... any ideas??

Deodorant question?
It might have to do with you shaving your armpits. They might be irritated from your razor.

If this doesnt help go to your doctor.
Reply:Sounds like it might be a mild form of chemical burn. Or a bad reaction. You should definatly see someone about that.
Reply:Try using baby powder. Use a puff and dab some on and rub it in.

The dark armpit stains on shirts are from the aluminum in your deodorant, and they are actual stains, they hardly ever come out.

If the spots are on your skin you definitely need to stop using them. You may be using too much and its staining your skin, or you could be allergic.

Baby powder works for the moisture, if you want to smell good, use the baby powder and just spray some body spray under your arms.
Reply:you need to see your doctor. he can give you a prescription or recomend one to use.
Reply:As Tammy said.. see a doctor... they can test for allergies and give you a perscription one.
Reply:will i had the same thing they have dregee you need to use that.
Reply:I would see your doctor but untill you can get an appointment maybe after applying the deodorant you can try and use a little baby powder. Also are you shaving with a dull or cheap razor? Do you use shaving cream or soap? All these may play a role in your problem
Reply:Maybe if you need a strong deodorant, you have to go to the doc for that. Try using powered deodorant. Anyways the intake of certain foods like blue cheese, garlic and onion will come out of the skin of your body when you sweat (and that would smell that good) plus we%26#039;re humans, we%26#039;re meant to sweat!!:)
Reply:See your doctor.

Deodorant. Night or Morning necessity?

Say you shower at night, do you then put on deodorant directly after the shower or do you go to sleep and apply deodorant when you wake up while getting ready for the day?

Deodorant. Night or Morning necessity?
Put it on in the morning. You%26#039;re not going to be doing anything in your sleep that%26#039;s going to make you stinky, and deodorant only lasts 8 or so hours anyway. So, put deodorant on in the morning to prevent waste.
Reply:When I shower at night I end up cleaning the deodorant off that I applied in the morning. So, I put on more right after the shower.

I also put deodorant on each morning. Gotta get that double layer of protection going.
Reply:When I shower at night (more often, I%26#039;m an afternoon showerer), I put powder under my arms to make sure they don%26#039;t smell in the morning. Typically after a regular day time shower, I put deodorant on right afterwards.

If it%26#039;s warm out, I%26#039;m more likely to put it on at night, too.

Deodorant question?

i am new to this deodorant business, now i generally shower in the evening, do i apply deodorant (the stick kind) in the morning?

Deodorant question?
Apply in the morning, but before you do, just give your arm pits a quick wash. It means you won%26#039;t be masking night time odours and should help you stay fresher longer.
Reply:i apply deo. every morning,

and even before i go to bed!

it helps.

hope i helped :)

Deodorant odor?

Does anyone else have a problem when you wear a certain deodorant, you get a really really bad B.O. smell? My clothes smell horrible and I%26#039;m changing and I have a backup one that this doesn%26#039;t happen with. I know it%26#039;s not me, I just got out of the shower. It seems like anytime I use Ban deodorants, I get a horrible scent on my clothing and on my upper body. Anyone else have this problem? BE NICE.

Deodorant odor?
yes i have the problem with suave brands and gentle glide it sucks and makes my pits sweat.

I would just throw it out and remember not to buy there products ;)

Deodorant issue?

i have a question whenever i take a shower i have a problem removing all my deodorant residue. i literally have to scrub until my skin is very raw and sometimes it still doesn%26#039;t all come out. i only use solid deodorants. gel and roll ons don%26#039;t work for me because my sweat washes them away. as a result of this i spend a long time in the shower. i didn%26#039;t have this problem before i usually took a shower for about 30 minutes now it%26#039;s about an hour or more. what can i do so i don%26#039;t stop hurting my armpits .

Deodorant issue?
I think that you may be using the deodorant that clunks up your underarm hair or something because I%26#039;ve noticed that usually that kind of deodorant is very hard to wash away under the arms.

Try using Deodorant that goes on Clear.

I use Right Guard Extreme Deodorant and it works just fine without such issues.
Reply:Try that new Adidas deodorant. Doesn%26#039;t have aluminum and junk. Seems to come off nicely.
Reply:Try a spray-on deodorant like Axe and reapply it daily.
Reply:take a hotter shower and don%26#039;t put so much on next time, or switch the way in which it%26#039;s applied.
Reply:good question maybe put a little less on, or try like washing under your arms 1st then get a shower and wash them again and see if that works. good luck.

Deodorant/antipersiprant?

What is the best/most effective brand of either deodorant or a deodorant/antiperspirant mix?

Deodorant for sensitive skin?

is it true that deodorant is the cause of breast cancer? what brand of deodorant that is best for dark armpit...coz i use rexona at shave my underarm but still its dark...what should i do?

Deodorant for sensitive skin?
Yes, it%26#039;s true. That is because of the illuminum in the deoderant. All of the toxins from it go straight to the breats and have no way of getting out. I suggest getting NATURAL deoderant which has NO illuminum in it. Try buying some at the store Sprouts. Also, get detox, white, or green tea. Drink it everyday. That will make your immune system stronger, which will help you be able to fight off litterally EVERY disease. Even Cancer and AIDS, because it all has to do with your immune system. Also, those teas, especially white tea, will kill cancer-causing cells.

Deodorant question for health professionals...?

My son is now 12. Last year he underwent chemo and he%26#039;s ok now, but he is afraid to use deodorant as they all have that ingredient in it which is linked to causing cancer. He%26#039;s at puberty now and needs to use something.

Can anyone recommend a deodorant available in Canada preferrably that doesn%26#039;t have that ingredient? I believe it%26#039;s aluminum or something of that nature.

Thanks in advance.

Deodorant question for health professionals...?
Hi Eve

What kind of cancer did your son have? I don%26#039;t blame him for worrying as cancer is scary. I%26#039;m a survivor too, and I wound up with lymphedema too.

There%26#039;s alot of pro and con sites on the web about cancer and different contents of deoderants and antiperspirants that cause cancer. In fact alot of breast cancer sites recommend avoiding aluminums.

One of the main lymph nodes in the body is called the axilla which is located under your arms. Many believe that deoderants and antiperspirants can clog the nodes and studies have shown that the aluminium from them is found in the nodes when biopsies were done.

There are several different natural deodorants, Walmart, Sam%26#039;s and BJ%26#039;s carry them. They are for men and women, I use Spray Mist which is a deodorant crystal spray, it%26#039;s 100% pure and natural, it has the pink ribbon on it for cancer approval too. They have crystal rocks too but I prefer sprays. I get 4 ounce (120ml) for $3.97 here in New York at Walmart. Walgreens also has them too, but you have to look in the women%26#039;s section even tho the bottle says for men and women because of the pink ribbon it%26#039;s in the women%26#039;s section.

The spray is made up of mineral salts, perfectly natural and they do work too for sweating and odor control.
Reply:According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), %26quot;Deodorants or antiperspirants are not cancer risk factors to men or women.%26quot;

Reference (third to the last paragraph of the article on this page):

http://web.archive.org/web/2003010313500...

Although this statement from ACS is dated May 21, 1999, a newer article on

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/webguide/in...

(copyright 2005 by the Associated Press)

reiterates that no evidence has linked these personal products with cancer (ACS and National Cancer Institute).

Nonetheless, I can identify with your son%26#039;s fears since I too underwent chemotherapy and if I could do anything to decrease my risk of recurrence or metastasis, I would.

He can use alum (not be be mistaken nor confused with aluminum aluminum salts such as aluminum chlorohydrate which the urban legend says is the component in antiperspirants that contribute to cancer). Alum is a water-soluble salt and among its uses is as a deodorant (see uses of alum on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alum).

In the Philippines, we call it Tawas and it is a very popular base for soaps and other beauty products that aim to help those who want to whiten our brown complexion into a fairer tone. I don%26#039;t know if alum will be available in health food stores in the US but a Filipino or other Asian store will most likely have it as soap, crystal, deodorant stick, or some other formulation.
Reply:that stuff only causes cancer if you eat it. However, I believe its only in antiperspirant and in some pickles. try a deodorant that is not antiperspirant, probably old spice would make some, since they are one of the oldest companies that makes the stuff.

You could try one of those health food stores as well . they sell all natural stuff. but it doesn%26#039;t really work all that well
Reply:I%26#039;ve heard that scientist recently found out that the ingredient is actually safe. I%26#039;m not completely sure though.
Reply:Try something from a health food store. They have all types of healthier products for looking and smelling good

Deodorant Help?

I%26#039;m kinda new to deodorant and I kinda have problems picking it and whatnot. I only have time to take a shower at night so should i put it on then or next morning? Anti-Perspirant vs. Deodorant? What brand. Can you just sum up ALL (if you can) about what I need ti know and do. Thank you.

Deodorant Help?
deodorant is actually meant to keep your body(specifically armpit) to stay fresh and dry. it%26#039;s weird though if you apply them in the night, we usually apply them before we get dressed. Better if u use them during the day time.I%26#039;ve tried several brand already, currently stick to Men%26#039;s Nivea (Dry). So far, i like it because it has strong masculin fragrance and doesnt leave stain to your shirt. Anyway, my chemistry teacher once said that deodorant has high zinc content...for the drying effect though.
Reply:Deodorant: It%26#039;s all up to you and your body about gel or stick. You should probably go with a Anti Perspirant, becuase those smell good too and they stop your underarms for sweating. As to when to put it on. I would say after your shower ( after you are completely dry) and then once in the morning. %26#039;tis better to smell to good, than to smell of rotting ***.
Reply:you usually put it on before you get dressed to keep you dry and stink free. i prefer deoderants because they allow your body to sweat but keep the odor causing bacteria at bay. anti perspirants actually stop you from naturally eliminating salts and wastes through sweat, which can be harmful to the body over time. good luck
Reply:Put it on in the morning after you shower. Put on some more if you stink during the day. If you notice that you stink even though you are using deodorant use a different brand. Not all deodorants work for everyone. But the first one you use should work. When you get older sometimes they stop working as well. I just want to add that body odor is NOT beautiful. We were on the train in Barcelona, Spain and a guy had the worst body odor you could imagine. People were moaning in agony and I wanted to barf. Thank God, we live in the US where we believe in deodorant.
Reply:AT NIGHT SHOWER PUT DEODORANT NEXT MORNING IS NOT NECESSARY PUT AGAIN.
Reply:You can put a little on after you get out of the shower and when you get up each moring. Yuo can apply it as needed. I love Old Spice mens deodorant in the red bottle. It is the spray kind. It smells yummy. My man wears it.
Reply:ok well i only know a little about this topic because i choose to be all natural (yes, hairy armpits are beautiful on women) so you can go natural. it saves money and the environment. the smell of BO is natural and absolutley beautiful. if you dont want to use that eco-friendly option, use whatver brand you like. anti perspirant and deodorant are the small thing child. the best advice it to go natural.

Deodorant help....plz?
omg i know i used to have the same problem i would sweat in winter and everyone else was freezing use secret platnuim botanical silk i use it and it works wonders!

smells good 2!!
Reply:Secret works the best for me- I put it on at night when I shower before bed, and the next day when I shower I have to wash hard to get it off- it last a long time and is very strong .... Like they say %26quot; Strong enough for men- But made for women%26quot;
Reply:Whichever brand you go with, just make sure it says %26quot;antiperspirant %26quot; on the bottle and isn%26#039;t only a deoderant.
Reply:degree and secret came out with clinical strength versions for people who sweat more then usual.
Reply:Degree deodorant!

No doubt!
Reply:My best friend had the same problem...

every day, no matter what the temp., or what she was

dooing, she would have huge wet spots under her arms.

She bought EVERY type of deoderant, and even used her

dads to see iff a %26#039;mans%26#039; was stronger. Nothing worked.

She went to see her doctor, was a little embarresed, but he

prescribed her a strong anitperspirant. It worked wonders!

The only bad thing was it was inscented... but she would put

it on, let it dry, then just put regular good smelling girly

deoderant.

See your doc. It would be a 5 min.appt!

You will have dryer days!

Good luck!
Reply:put your deodorant on and then put powder wherever your sweating.
Reply:Secret Clinical Strength. You can buy it at any drugstore...

Switching to deodorant causing skin problems?

I have to say, these rumors about antiperspirants have me rattled. I am already into perservative free food, etc. and am now thinking it truly isnt good to stop your skin from sweating, a natural way to release toxins.

Since I have switched to %26quot;Tom%26#039;s%26quot; and other natural deodorants, I have had dark shades in my armpits, looks like dead skin (brown shade), the skin is peeling and sloughing off, its really bad! My armpits have never done that before, the only change i made was switching to deodorant..is my body just going through its cleansing period because it can actually sweat there now?

Also, the natural stuff REALLY isnt working, I smell! Toms deodorant contains %26quot;hops%26quot; which supposedly kills odor bacteria. It really isnt working and I want to use antiperspirant again, but Im really nervous about it with all the spread about its negative long term effects.

Switching to deodorant causing skin problems?
oooh yes that what our bodies do when you switch to natural and healthy things..thats how your body helas and cleans it self..it has to gt rid of it that way. go to these websites : cosmeticsdatabase.com (type in a product and it tells you all the harm it does to your body) this one as well is very informative newstarget.com

(and yes many people have died by using too many toxic products on their skin...do research)

I like%26quot;crystal%26#039; deoderant the best, try one with natural salts in it (not aluminum)
Reply:just use the antiperspirant. everybody has been using it for forever and nobody has died of deodorant yet. I wouldn%26#039;t worry about it. I htink the side effect of the other stuff is nastier than not allowing your skin to sweat. Your armpits are a small part of your body, your whole body is allowed to sweat except for your stinky armpits, so i think you%26#039;ll be ok.

Deodorant to much or to little?

how many t imes should i swipe my Degree deodorant under my pits?i dont want to o-d on deodorant lol so how much is enough and should i apply right after i take a shower or wait till im dry??????

Deodorant to much or to little?
You should try an experiment on yourself.

Use one swipe on the right and 2 on the left. If both arms are fine then just use one swipe. If just the right arm gets wet, then use 2 swipes on both pits. If both pits are wet, then the next day use 3 swipes on one and 4 on the other, and see how you do.

You should be well controlled with 3-4 swipes, maybe less.
Reply:wait till you%26#039;re dry. Deodorant can kill people faster. I mean like, you werent meant to shave your pits white and then smear stuff to clog your pores. Sweat is good. It cools down your body and bad stuff leaks out. Just a little, and Secret is a really bad kind just so u know. It contains stuff that can give you breast cancer.

Deodorant problem?

Hey, i always put on deodorant after i shower or after P.E. However i still seem so sweat in my pits no matter what deodorant i use. Its emabrrasing and im hoping someone can let me know if they have a solution. It leaves big wet sports on my shirts and i have to keep my sweatshirt on. So please help.

Deodorant problem?
Some individuals have a condition called %26quot;hyperhidrosis%26quot; - it%26#039;s simply the production of LOTS of sweat. It can be treated, and treatment is generally covered by insurance. Contact your doctor to learn about your options, and good luck!
Reply:if its really that bad then you can see your doctor and get a perscribed deoderant...

its an actual condition that alot of people have... if trying an extra strength anti-perspirant doesnt work i would talk to the doctor...
Reply:try %26quot;degree%26quot; brand deodorant/anti-perspirant. i used to be the same way, courtesy of inheriting the tendency to sweat in any weather from my granddad. the stuff works, and you don%26#039;t smell like an animal either.
Reply:There%26#039;s a product called %26quot;Certain Dri%26quot; available anywhere, I think. I haven%26#039;t used it, but I have a couple friends that have and they swear it%26#039;s a miracle worker for just that same problem.
Reply:don%26#039;t use axe that sh*t smells bad when u use too much buy some anti perspirant
Reply:try using an antiperspirant %26amp; deodorant.
Reply:Use secret it is the strongest out there. (The soft solid)

It sounds like you are young and probably hormonal. A doc could help too.
Reply:see your doctor there is prescription deoderant/antipresperant for people with your problem. don%26#039;t sweat it any longer!
Reply:Yeah, I agree re: using an antiperspirant. If that doesn%26#039;t work, talk to your doc. They can use Botox now to stop excessive sweating!
Reply:Try a different brand of deodrent

Deodorant problems need help!!!!!!!!!?

so i wanna find a deodorant that works 4 me but i havent found it yet i tried secret but i think it its what caused my underarms 2turn in2 like dark spots so i just stop using it even though it worked 4 me so now im trying dove i just got it and im using it but i dont know if it will work 4 me cuz i tried it be4 and it didint work 4 me then so my question is WHAT KIND OF DEODORANT SHOULD I USE?????????????

P.S. i tried degree and suave thay didnt work so help.........

Deodorant problems need help!!!!!!!!!?
You may want to go to your dermatologist and ask what you can do. A lot of people have overactive sweat glands and sometimes they need a prescription strength deodorant/antiperspirant, or something to go with what you%26#039;re using.

If you don%26#039;t want to go to the dermatologist, go to your local natural supplement store and ask what you can use and try that. Nothing there should cause your underarms to turn dark.
Reply:I%26#039;m not quite sure what kind of brand to get but maybe one that specifically says for sweaty pits, but what my cousin does is she puts it on right before she goes to bed because she sweats alot at night time too and it helps the next morning. she also puts it on in the morning.
Reply:hi try LADIES SPEED STICK or MUM they work 4 me
Reply:The only ones that seems to really work for me are the ones geared specifically for sweaty pits. Like you said, the Secret. I use the platinum clear gel. The Dove Ultra worked for me, too...the soft solid? Smells good, and does really make your underarms soft.
Reply:try lady speed stick ..it works good...also you can try a hope remedy...lemon juice is good and refreshing...tried once when i had an infected underarm with an ingrown hair...hope this help...P.S. the real lemon
Reply:i have addidas {alluminum free}. it works for me
Reply:try palmolive, its not a spray, its a stick deodrant it is very good ,u can get it in your local asda, its called palmolive soft and gentle, aromatherapy, it is very efficient, i work hard at my job all day very manual, and at the end off the day i still smell sweet lol. hope this helps hun.
Reply:TRY LADIES SPEED STICK OR EVEN TUSSY
Reply:Try a product called %26quot;Sure Dri%26quot; it is at any drug store in the deodorant section. It is a little more expensive than the other brands, but it works much better. Failing that try going to a place like a health food store, or a place that has natural products. I swear by a deodorant stone. It%26#039;s a crystal type rock that you wet lightly then use on the underarms. It works great. Try the Body Shop store or go online. Good luck
Reply:Sometimes you have to match the deodorant to how much you sweat...Like, have you ever used a deodorant and 2 hours later your underarms smell bad? Well, that means it%26#039;s not strong enough for you...But sometimes the dark spots don%26#039;t come from the deodorant, it comes from how well you wash yourself. It varies because of how sensitive your skin may be. The dark spots are caused by the reaction of your skin to the product. If you scrub your underarms, you may be okay...But some skin types if you scrub to hard, it%26#039;ll cause a skin irritation usually leading to dark spots to appear...I would suggest to keep using Dove or maybe even try a deodorant that is powdered base...the drier your skin, the better...

GOOD LUCK!~

Deodorant for sensitive skin?

is it true that deodorant is the cause of breast cancer? what brand of deodorant that is best for dark armpit...coz i use rexona at shave my underarm but still its dark...what should i do?

Deodorant for sensitive skin?
go to a health food store. they can help you find one. i can%26#039;t remember the name. i don%26#039;t use deodorant for sensitive skin. i use aregular stick deodrant and i have no problems with it.
Reply:try dove or natural deoterant. I dont know what its called but you can find some in regular stores that are all natural. And yes they can lead to breast cancer
Reply:rexona?? u from the philippines?

go for the natural stuff...try tawas..it really helps...and it doesnt have any additives..cheaper too

Deodorant Question?

Well I use Adidas deodorant and for some reason, I will still sweat but it won%26#039;t be sweat or smell its like I%26#039;m sweating the deodorant its really weird, what am I doing wrong? In the morning after my shower I dry off my armpits before I put it on.

Deodorant Question?
You need a deodorant that has both anti-perspirant and deodorant in it. The anti-perspirant part helps control sweat, and the deodorant part helps you smell better if you do start to sweat.

You may also want to look into some of the new %26quot;clinical strength%26quot; anti-perspirant/deodorants. I have heard they work really well for most people.
Reply:use old spice or degree.. works much better..
Reply:You need to be usuing an anti perspirant, and then you will stay dry all the time.
Reply:Use certain dri for any wetness protection, you put it on at night, I can wear pink or red or whatever I want now that I do not have to worry about wet pits!
Reply:everyone gets used to their deodrant eventually. I have started wearing pitrok which is completely natural salt. Fantastic! Smells of nothing at all. Stops you sweating and even if you do sweat it smells of nothing.

Takes some getting used to as it is completely dry and odourless so you have to trust that you have actually put some on, as otherwise you just wouldnt know!
Reply:Try a diff. kind of deodorant. It may be cuz the kind you are using now is old or just doesn%26#039;t like your skin. Try something new like axe.
Reply:lay off to axe or tag
Reply:Anti-persperant will stop you from sweating. Deodorant keeps you from smelling badly.
Reply:its because it is a deoderant not an anti-persperant

so it doesn%26#039;t smell

but you still feel sweaty

adidas is a good brand to use it doesn%26#039;t have aluminum dioxide in it

which causes cancer

if it really bothers you look for a deoderant that is also an anti-persperant then you won%26#039;t feel sweaty anymore

Deodorant stops working after some time?

I currently have 20+ deodorants at home - they all have worked (except one that didn%26#039;t work at all) well for a month or so and suddenly they stopped working. I tried Nivea, Neutro roberts, Dove, Lush, Rexona, Balea...The same thing with all of them. I%26#039;m happy with some deodorant, there is no smell and it stops working.

I just don%26#039;t know what to do anymore. I have feeling that I%26#039;m the only one who has the big problem with body smell.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

P.S. sorry for my bad English.

Deodorant stops working after some time?
i switch my deoderants about ever 2 weeks because they stop working after a while. i have 3 that i rotate.
Reply:hmm I know what you are talking about, I think you are just getting used to the smell, but you could try and combine antiperspirant roll-on and deodorant, may be the same brand or smell that%26#039;s what i do, and it works for me :)
Reply:Not all deodorant is for ever body. some have different problem thats why they make a lot of different deodorant.

try a deodorant that is made for that smell and dryness.

worst comes to worst try men%26#039;s deodorant.

it will be our little secret
Reply:i have the same problem. i thought i was going crazy or that my sense of smell was all wrong.

i dont know what makes deodorant do that.
Reply:Im a girl but use lynx Dry its so good and ive been using it for over a month and still works then i spray on purfume like just me- paris hilton which has quite a strong smell so i smell more feminine =]
Reply:you just get used to your smell and it stops smelling like your wearing anything it just blends in to your routine
Reply:Try adidas deodorant. It’s cheap, but it works for me.
Reply:Try rotating usage for each one.
Reply:use crystal deodorant

Deodorant help?

what are some good deodorant brands for these things to consider:

-no scent

-i currently use Dove, but i realized that after camp, i%26#039;m still sweating

(i%26#039;ll have camp in the morning before school begins, and i don%26#039;t want to go to class smelling like b.o even though i already have that Dove deodorant on)

any suggestions?

Deodorant help?
they have this thing called certain dry, its used for excessive perspiration...

it has no scent, leaves no stains or anything on your clothes

you apply it at night...

you can get it at walgreens or walmart next to all of the other deodorants, its in a green box with big letters saying CERTAIN DRY
Reply:Try an anti-perspirant
Reply:I have used Mitchum anti-perspirant for 30+ years now. It works so well that, as they say, even if you skip a day or two, you%26#039;ll be fine.
Reply:secret clinical sterngth is like 8 -9 dollars
Reply:Well, I personally use Secret and Dove (scented). You should find any brand that is unscented and also says anti-persperant
Reply:if there is no scent why you get deodorent
Reply:yeah, the secret clinical strength is worth it 100%. i dont care if not sweating is unhealthy lol i do not sweat at all. its like a miracle haha

hope everything works out for you!
Reply:if you don%26#039;t like to sweat, try to find an antipersperant.
Reply:antiperspirant
Reply:degree is the best antiperspirant that i have found so far

the scent is not strong

and i have really sensitive armpit skin so if you are worried about that it does not leave you itchy, or bitchy lol!!
Reply:i make a paste out of baking soda and water, and pat it underarms. let dry, then leave overnight...i wash it off in the morning. and theres no scent at all, no stink, no nice smell...just nothing. :) it works! and i heard for some that if you repeat every morning for a couple weeks, the smell will completely vanish! no more need for deodorant! but me...i dunno, i%26#039;m not so faithful with using it so yeah...but i use it sometimes.
Reply:old spice
Reply:secret clincial strength works really well, even though it is pretty pricey
Reply:If you want to stop sweating, you have to use an antiperspirant. Deodorant just masks the smell but doesn%26#039;t stop the perspiration. Maybe Dove also makes an antiperspirant that you can try.
Reply:Secret or Dove works the best for me.
Reply:Maybe try Degree, not sure if they have an unscented by it%26#039;s a pretty good antiperspirant.
Reply:hey =]]]

i had the same problem with deoterant but i recently got this kind called Speed Stick 24/7 for woman and this sounds weird but non scent guy deoterant works great
Reply:Sounds goofy, but I%26#039;ve found that men%26#039;s deodorant actually works better than most women%26#039;s. My personal favorite is Arrid Xtra Dry, it%26#039;s the only one I%26#039;ve found that keeps me from suffering the curse of B.O. throughout the day. It maybe hard to find one without a scent though, since that is what partly eliminates the B.O. smell.

Deodorant and grooming?

Ok, I%26#039;ll get to the question: Is it ok for a man to use deodorant or body spray on their nutsack? My girlfriend walked in on me rubbing an old spice deodorant stick on my nutsack and freaked out on me. I said to her %26quot;I%26#039;m doing it for you babe!%26quot; so who%26#039;s in the wrong here her or me?

Deodorant and grooming?
Using a deodorant is ok, but you should use a spray and not a roll-on or stick
Reply:i would say you are because....that%26#039;s just weird...
Reply:are you honestly asking this?? talk to HER anout it.
Reply:both
Reply:It%26#039;s kind of weird. I would certainly freak out if i saw my boyfriend doing that
Reply:well, what if she was putting it on her boobs and clit?
Reply:stick it up!--lol. try tag or something else.
Reply:Hmmm that just sounds like a overall %26quot;weird%26quot; moment...but I mean hey everyone does things that they dont want their spouses knowing at first...ya know...is it safe to put in on ur nut sack? hmmm anyways just tell her its what you do and to get over it
Reply:ahaha never heard of that b4...
Reply:I dont tnik theres anything wrong with it......its gotta be better than the smell of sweaty bally.......yuck!! :o)
Reply:If my boyfriend did that, i would find it a bit strange but I would not freak out, its not such a big deal

try using a spray though, not a deodorant stick
Reply:IT%26#039;S WRONG!!! IF YOU WERE PUTTING DEODERANT UNDER YOUR ARMS THAT WOULD BE OK, BUT THAT IS SO WRONG! I MEAN IF YOU SWEET DOWN THERE THEN I GET IT, BUT OTHERWISE GROSS!!!
Reply:as a woman, i have to say, i would have freaked out too.

not only is that an unintended use of a product - so you don%26#039;t even know if it%26#039;s safe to apply it there - what if she wants to pleasure you in a certain way? are you saying that you want her to eat your hygiene products? i can only imagine the taste would ruin the experience for her - and then that would ruin the experience for you.

you do what you want, but - if you insist on continuing to put product there - at least handle your response a little better if a woman expresses discomfort with your choice. %26quot;i%26#039;m doing it for you, babe!%26quot; SOUNDS really insensitive, and probably didn%26#039;t go over very well with her.

Deodorant Stain Removal?

I have a black polo shirt that has gotten white marks under the arm pit area from my deodorant. Its also gotten very thick in that area. Washing it doesn%26#039;t remove it. Is there anything I can do to get rid of the buildup of deodorant around that area?

Deodorant Stain Removal?
You can try Spot Shot the carpet cleaner. I have used it on clothing for years. I have never used it to get deodorant stains like that out, but I am sure that it will work.

Spray the stained area and let it sit for a minute or so. Then respray it and work into the stain area in the direction of the fabric. Repeat until you can see that it has lifted the stain. Wash and rinse immediately in warm water. Cold water will set a stain.

After it goes through the wash, you will need to check to make sure the stain is gone before drying it. If it is still there repeat again until gone.

Also, instead of letting it build up, pretreat it each time with spray and wash or shout before washing each time.

I have never had deoderant do this to any of mine or my husbands clothing so you may want to switch to something else if this keeps occuring.

I hope this helped!
Reply:all you need for this is the good old fashioned soap bar for washing clothes, soak your shirt in cold water rub the soap in to the stain. Leave free from the water for 1/2 hr back to the cold water add more soap and straight into the washing machine . No need to rinse the soap of before putting in machine , then stains should lift out, also the more heat you add to a stain the harder it is to remove .

Prescription strength deodorant? Is the new Secret Clinical Strength one the same as a doctor would prescribe?

I tried the Secret Clinical Strength deodorant and it works great, keeps me dry all day except after a few days of using it, I started to get an allergic reaction from it. I started to get a rash under my arms so I stopped using it. After the rash cleared up, I tried it again and the same thing happened after a few days of using it. I%26#039;m pretty bummed out now because the Secret Clinical Strength deo was the only one that seemed to keep me completely dry and odor free during the summer months and now I can%26#039;t use it. :( Does anyone know if the kind of deodorant a doctor prescribes is exactly the same as the Secret Clinical Strength one or do they prescribe a totally different kind of deodorant?

Prescription strength deodorant? Is the new Secret Clinical Strength one the same as a doctor would prescribe?
It is different, and they have several options to give you. I tried the secret and it did not work for me =( but my Doc gave me prescription gel that you rum on at night, works great for me! Good Luck!
Reply:The term %26quot;clinical%26quot; strenght is a selling point. It does not necessarily mean that a doctor would prescribe it. If oyu are getting a rash from it, something in it is irritating to your skin and you should stop using it.
Reply:I had the same thing happen to me.. I switched to ultra dry Degree for men it works great... It may be mens but it seems to work good...
Reply:Actually skip the commercials, go to a doctor and get something that works and won%26#039;t make you rash.

My daughter has heavy sweating problems, so she is a afraid to wear shirts, she just wears tanks.....I took her to the doctor and he had a great solution. It costs more, but thanks to my husbands medical plan, it was covered.

Look into it at some point, my daughter sufferered embarrassment, self doubt, etc, it happens but temperature or deodarant/anti perspirants that work for me won%26#039;t work for her, or you.......Look into a doctor visit, it might change your life.
Reply:Use one that doesnt cause a reaction for you. During the hot months wash and apply twice a day.
Reply:What about using it every other day instead of daily? Have you tried using less at each application. Have you tried Mitchum? I got to where I could use it only once every 3 or 4 days, daily use cause the same reaction you are experiencing.

okay so the deodorant i found i loved last summer isnt cutting it this summer...so any recomidations for a good deodorant that dosent get white all over my clothes? ive been using degree invisible soild 100% black dress approved...but i smell a little musty and im just sitting here...

Deodorant question?
Secret brand is supposed to have a new deodorant that is prescription-strength, yet is sold over-the-counter. You might want to try this one.
Reply:Mitchum - Clear Gel is the best. No matter how sweaty or smelly your underarms can get. You really can skip a day if need to. It also comes in powder fresh scent. Highly recommend it. You%26#039;ll love it.
Reply:Degree ultra clear. Black dress approved.
Reply:Try Dove. I use it and it last until I wake up the next morning for a shower.
Reply:I think Dial is the most effective and also their cleansing soap. You need to wash the bacteria away. I beleive they have a non stain (clear) one out now.
Reply:I use lady speed stick....has never failed me. But if you want to use something that doesn%26#039;t neccesarily have a scent but will help the sweating, get Certain Dri.
Reply:You gotta try Dove ! They have a formula that won%26#039;t show up on your cloths. It lasts all day long and they have different fragrances.I think that you might like it.
Reply:I use Bionsen for smells and Mitchum water stick for wetness (Bear in mind that it doesn%26#039;t cut out smell for me, but it might for you.

DON%26#039;T apply it every day - even if you smell - as you%26#039;ll get dry underarm skin

Deodorant STAINS HELP!!!?

I am a young woman with the problem of sweating all the time and i get deodorant stains on my light colored clothes. I have tried just about any deodorant that you could think of. My fav is by Elizabeth Arden, its seems to work the best. Could you suggest anything to help. How can I stop the sweeting, or get the stains out.

Deodorant STAINS HELP!!!?
botox injections under the arms to stop sweating pretreat your clothes and rub detergent vigorously into the clothes to get them clean before washing them You have to physically remove the dirt from the fibers. It takes time and effort but it works for almost all stains

Deodorant vs. Shower + Deodorant?

What do you people think about putting on deodorant without taking a shower first (When your%26#039;e still fresh)

Deodorant vs. Shower + Deodorant?
i like to shower then put deoderant on
Reply:I%26#039;m not understanding your question.
Reply:i take a shower at night and then put the deodorant on in the morning...cuz i use the gel kind, and it kinda stings if i put it on right after i shave them.
Reply:it%26#039;s ok, but it%26#039;s good to take a shower every other day, because if you don%26#039;t you stat to smell and sweat easier, even with deodrant!
Reply:umm because some people can%26#039;t shower whenever they want plus maybe they don%26#039;t want their hair wet
Reply:If you don%26#039;t smell - works for me.
Reply:i prefer a shower

Can anyone recommend an invisibile deodorant/antiperspirant forwomen that doesnt leave stains on your clothes?

i%26#039;ve searched for deodorants all the time that dont leave deodorant on your clothes right. i have garments ruined completely from deodorant stains. i have bought deodorants called %26quot;invisible%26#039;, called %26quot;clear%26quot;, and they are not! I%26#039;ve bought some that are clear, and when they go on, they turn white! I was in europe, and i bought nivea pure invisible. this stuff is truely invisible, but not available in the states! anyone can recommend me a truly clear/invisibile deodorant/anti perspirant that i can buy in the USA?

Can anyone recommend an invisibile deodorant/antiperspirant forwomen that doesnt leave stains on your clothes?
use a crystal deoderant. i%26#039;ve been using it for years and it works great...i%26#039;ve never had any stains or white stuff on my clothes plus they last for a long time. you can get them in most drugstores, and better yet, health food stores (henry%26#039;s, whole foods, etc.)
Reply:the brands i use are crystal stick and naturally fresh, both of which work great and are available at most drugstores. these brands carry a crystal, spray, and roll-on gel form of the deodorant, but the crystal and gel work best. Report It

Reply:I reccomend clinical strength gel antiperspirtant. and Secret just came out with clinical strength stuff too. I don%26#039;t know if it is indivisble. I use Mitchum for women. It is really strong and actually doesn%26#039;t leave any stains. You just have to wait a minute to let it dry because it is a gel anti-perspirant.
Reply:Try Herbal Clear. You can purchase it at Wal Mart.
Reply:use natural herbs, its powder...natural...no sideeffects, does not stain got light pleasant scent...ask about it where u buy loose spices
Reply:i use secret
Reply:Any kind kind of spray-on deodorant will solve your problem!

Deodorant Reaction?!?

I put on a deodorant and just noticed that it%26#039;s as if my arm pits got sunburn and are peeling. I put it on earlier today and pretty sure it has been alright the rest of the week i%26#039;ve been using this deodorant. I still want to use it, it smells amazingly!! What is this reaction from?? Can I keep using it? Did I put too much? That%26#039;s my only idea why this happend.

Deodorant Reaction?!?
My husband ALWAYS has this. He puts on way, way too much antiperspirant. I think he uses the Old Spice High Endurance. It is drying out and irritating your skin. He won%26#039;t change, though, and I doubt you will either :)
Reply:Test it on a different part of your body and see if the same thing happens.

For now, discontinue using it under your armpits.

Deodorant causing dry skin?

Just recently, I switched to a new deodorant. It%26#039;s natural, unscented and aluminum-free, meaning it%26#039;s not an anti-persperant. It%26#039;s sounds pretty safe, but since I%26#039;ve been using it, the skin under my arms have become dry and even started to peel. I put lotion on everyday along with my deodorant, so it isn%26#039;t that bad. I just wanted to see if anyone knew why this was happening. Could it be because it%26#039;s not an anti-persperant? I%26#039;m not sure. Anything helps. Thanks. :)

Deodorant causing dry skin?
I had the same annoying problem! Some people have skin sensitivities to certain products that are generally considered %26quot;great for any skin type.%26quot; I switched to Dove Ultimate Clear, and it%26#039;s wonderful! I believe the adds say something like, %26quot;Leaves skin feeling soft, and doesn%26#039;t leave any white spots on your clothing.%26quot; And it%26#039;s the truth! :D I totally recommend it.
Reply:change ur deodarant because u might have a skin allergy reaction to a chemical in it

i also do nott recommend role on deodarants cause studies have shown that chemicals in role on deodarants higher ur risk of breast cancer!!
Reply:Probably. The perspiration builds up and irritates your skin. Or you could be allergic to something in it even though it%26#039;s all natural.People are allergic to many things even natural ingredients. I would stop using it for a while and see if it gets better. If you keep using it it may get worse. Be careful

Natural Deodorant Crystal Deodorant ?

I´m a bit concerned with what´s being said about deodorants being the cause of breast cancer. I´m looking for natural alternatives. I´ve come across a %26quot;Natural Crystal, Alum, Stone Deodorant%26quot; which seems to be an effective and totally harmful substitute. Has anyone ever used it? Does it really work? Would you recommend it? Many thanks!

Natural Deodorant Crystal Deodorant ?
Hi - I have been using Tawas crystal deo for several years and would not go back to conventional anti-perspirant. It works absolutely brilliantly, your clothes don%26#039;t get cacked up with residue, you can use it anywhere on your body. Its also much cheaper as a crystal will last around a year.
Reply:Deodorants are normally fine as they just mask the smell. You will still sweat of course so if you don%26#039;t wash then you will smell soon enough.

It%26#039;s anti-perspirants which are deemed by some people to be suspect - they actually stop sweat forming, which to me doesn%26#039;t sound healthy as sweating is good for you - it cools you down and gets rid of excess salts.
Reply:I%26#039;ve used that crystal one. You dampen what appears to be a lump of crystal and wipe. It%26#039;s ok so long as you%26#039;re not doing anything too taxing. For really hot days I%26#039;d give it a miss but on an average UK day it%26#039;d be fine so long as you don%26#039;t have to run for the bus...
Reply:ive got the crystal once only used it once it ok for day to day things but if your going out dancing excercising etc its not very good.try hooland and barrat health shops and speak to an assistant theyre really friendly and helpful !
Reply:The thing I don%26#039;t like about it is you have to soak it before you put it on so it%26#039;s not nice to wear. Also it%26#039;s a deodorant (stops the smell) but not an anti perspirant 9stops the sweating) so you still get marks on your clothes.

Weleda do a herbal deodorant which is quite nice, though that%26#039;s not an antiperspirant either.
Reply:I have been using Crystal Spring natural deodorant for several years now, and although I was sceptical when it was recommended to me, I thought I would give it a try. It really does work, lasts for ages and it doesn%26#039;t stain clothes.

The first one I tried, I can%26#039;t remember what it was called, but it was just the stone and it kept slipping out of my hands, falling to the floor and breaking up, but the Crystal Spring comes in a holder.

Hope this helps.

By the way I mean the crystal itself lasts for ages.

Reply:My friend%26#039;s friend used it and didn%26#039;t like it, she said it didn%26#039;t do the job at all, it%26#039;s like no anti-perspirant at all! Might as well not use anything at all as she said, only %26quot;nasty%26quot; anti-perspirants actually do the trick. I guess it depends on how naturally %26quot;smelly%26quot; you are as to how well it works on you. I know a girl who never uses any anti-perspirant at all and she%26#039;s happy.
Reply:I used a different type of %26#039;rock%26#039; one and I didn%26#039;t get on with it - you had to wet it to apply and this doesn%26#039;t feel very nice! I now use Bionsen roll on (not nearly so wet!). This is aluminium free which is what I was concerned about. I don%26#039;t know which ingredient you are trying to avoid. You can buy it at Boots. Again its NOT an anti perspirant, just a deodorant. Health food shops often have a good choice of things like this.

Best deodorant/antiperspirant for an athletic girl?

I%26#039;ve tried Lady Speed Stick (24/7 Protection), Secret, and Adidas deodorants but they all seem to get gooey and wet. I sweat a lot, because I play sports. Basketball and track are my sports at the moment, but I also play some soccer and tennis.

I don%26#039;t know about using men%26#039;s deodorant/antiperspirant, but I head from a few friends that it works miracles. I would just like to have a deodorant that will work for me, since I play many sports and I sweat a lot. I prefer one that doesn%26#039;t smell too horribly strong, nor gets gooey (like the gel kind).

Best protection would be nice, meaning no sweat marks under arms! Thanks!

Best deodorant/antiperspirant for an athletic girl?
Degree ultra clear for women...I have used speed stick and dove. Both fell short. I have been using degree for over a year and will never use anything else again!!! It%26#039;s great and the scents are great! I am a pure rain girl myself.
Reply:i like the addidas but you have to get the powder one. NOT the gel. the gel doesnt work and yes, it gets gooey. the powder type actually dries to a powder finish and also it lasts alot longer than the gel. and one more thing, it is an antiperspirant/deodorant so it helps stop everything.
Reply:i would suggest you using Sure Girl it is the new brand for sure it smells lush and the bottle looks pretty too. there is also a cool application to add on bebo.

%26quot;we know what makes you sweat%26quot;
Reply:you might want to first try something like:

Best men's deodorant/bodywash/cologne.?

Well couple months, I have been using different kinds of deodorants and colognes. I have used Axe in the past, but that doesnt really smell good as a cologne or bodyspray. I have been using degree deodorant, but when i smell myself through my clothes it sometimes doesnt smell good. I%26#039;ve even used two scents of degree, cool rush and sport. As for cologne I have used Hugo Boss, but sometimes I think that it doesnt smell that good on me. I tried AE 77 FOR HIM, but I only used the bodyspray and it doesnt have a strong scent at all and it harldy works. As for body wash I just dont know what to choose. Im thin king of Old Spice Deodorant and Body wash because i heard they were good. For cologne i heard Abercrombie Fierce is good. So please reccommend the best cologne, deodorant and body wash. please and thank you.

Best men%26#039;s deodorant/bodywash/cologne.?
The longer you wear cologne and body sprays, the less you smell it on yourself. Keep several onhand and switch up from day to day. I like Adidas, Curve, Bod (Really Ripped Abs), and Eternity (I dont wear womens perfume, only mens cologne).
Reply:Derek Jeter Driven. It smells really good and works good too. You can get the deodorant, body wash and cologne at www.youravon.com/tonettelee.
Reply:Paris Hilton for men. That deodorant smells wonderful!!!! It is by Paris Hilton, but it smells great! Hope the helps.

No deodorant ever works completely...favorite brands?

I%26#039;ve tried about half a dozen deodorants over the past 10 years. Sometimes they%26#039;ll work a bit and prevent me from smelling, but eventually, I can smell my perspiration again. It doesn%26#039;t smell horrible like normal BO, but it%26#039;s a blend between BO and deodorant and it drives me crazy.

The method I use to apply it is I get out of the shower every morning, dry off completely and then apply. Then a few hours later, I notice my shirt starts smelling. Help!

What are some deodorants that work for you, no smelling throughout the day?

No deodorant ever works completely...favorite brands?
Hillestadt is the best deodorant product I have tried. Avalon and Avon are good, too. Remember, Deodorant is not supposed to do anything about sweat..only about scent. If you need to control sweat AND scent, you need an antiperspirant. Sometimes you need to control the sweat too because it is the bacteria that causes some of the bad scent. Powder like %26quot;shower to shower%26quot; is really good, too. My favorite and most successful trick, though, is to get the cream perfume from Avon and use it with my antipersirant. Nothing works better than that combination! Use the Avon cream perfume on your feet too and you won%26#039;t have foot odor!!
Reply:lady speed stick invisable dry (fruity melon and wild freesia) and secret platnum with the scent of vanilla chai i will swear by both!! the chai smells AMAZING (like good enough to eat, it makes me crave milkyway frapachinos LOL) and so does the fruity melon and wild freesia (they also smell amazing but they dont make you crave fruit LOL).
Reply:Secret, platinum. its the best! its sorta like a roll on but not, more waxy solid type thing but it works so well! i put it on and it last soo long, like more than a day. and the flavors smell so good! get %26#039;asian pear%26#039; it smells the best.. like my friend thought it was a fruity perfume once but it was just my deoderant :)
Reply:i use ban - it works

but then after i work out i put on secret
Reply:Secret!
Reply:use Secret, not the solid kind, the gel. it like, well, absorbs the sweat. and what Arielle T uses works really good too. i think it works good, but it is my body, not urs... good luck.
Reply:Secret Platinum
Reply:Use dove with moisturizers.you won%26#039;t find a sweat stopping deodorant but dove is nice and it smooths ur pits if you need it and it doesn%26#039;t get on ur shirt much
Reply:OK. I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE TRIED A PRESCRIPTION DEODERANT WHICH YOU CAN ONLY APPLY AT NIGHT BUT THAT DIDNT HELP MUCH. I NOW USE THE SECRET CLINICAL STRENTH DEODARENT. ALSO TRY DRINKING MORE WATER. BEFORE APPLYING DEODERANT IN THE MORNING CLEANSE THE UNDERARMS WITH ALCHOHOL OR WITCHAZEL. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE TO REAPPLY DEODARENT 2-3 TIMES THROUGH OUT THE DAY. THIS WORKS FOR ME-------AND IF NONE OF THIS HELPS. TRY OLD SPICE. IT%26#039;S FOR MEN BUT IT WORKS FOR WOMEN LIKE ME, YOU AND OTHERS WHO HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND THEY COME IN GREAT SCENTS.
Reply:Speedstick, I swear by it
Reply:I use Degree for women. It has a light scent and works better than Secret or anything like that. I also need a deodorant that won%26#039;t smell because I play a lot of sports.
Reply:I personally like degree for women.

it smells good.
Reply:degree for women is the only stuff that works for me. i%26#039;ve tried other stuff, for the different smells and to see if it works, but i always go back. it%26#039;s the only thing i can count on after an 8-hour shift of constantly running around. i use the powder one usually, %26quot;little black dress approved.%26quot;
Reply:ive always liked dove but maybe you should see a dermatologist

Which deodorant?

okay well i have a huge problem. i wear deodorant every single day. i wash my armpits daily and right when i get out of the shower i put on deodorant. but i still sweat badly under my arms which causes wetness. and you can see it and i sweat daily. i have tried so many different deodorant. the gel kind doesnt work and the solid kind doesnt either. even when i am not cold i sweat. does anybody have a cure for this. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Which deodorant?
Hi there! Sounds like you may have axillary hyperhidrosis (the medical term for excessive sweating of the underarms). Welcome to the club--there are about 176 million of us around the world. It is a genetic disorder--so you can thank your parents for this one. The good news is that there are safe and effective options.

According to the International Hyperhidrosis Society (the world%26#039;s gurus of sweat at www.SweatHelp.org) you can treat axillary HH by:

1.) *Proper* use of strong anti-perspirants (deodorants just make sweat smell pretty, they don%26#039;t stop it). Here are tips for how to make APs work their best for you: apply at night before bed; apply to a totally dry underarm; use a SOFT SOLID--no matter what brand you like, this form is the most effective. You can apply in the morning again if you want an extra boost.)

2.) Botox (lasts at least 6 months and insurance often pays!)

Lots of us use these treatments in combination. It%26#039;s so important to get with a dermatologist that knows all about these options and you can craft the best treatment plan. The IHHS has a good physician database that you can use to find a derm near her. Plus while you are there you can read all about the treatment options so you can become a guru too!

OH, you should totally get the FREE book Teen Sweat 101 from the IHHS. Just send an email to support@SweatHelp.org and they will send the book out right away. This is a great way to learn about the all things sweat.

Hey, make sure you subscribe to their newsletter. They tell you about new developments in HH so you can be the first in line to get the best in class treatment--sometimes free! Check out their recent article about Secret Clinical Strength, for example.

Good luck!

PS: Don%26#039;t ever consider ETS surgery because it often causes %26quot;comensatory sweating%26quot; which is profuse sweating on large areas of the body. In addition, surgery is not reversible--no matter what the doc tells her. Lots of people are upset about their surgery and in some countries it%26#039;s actually outlawed.
Reply:okay calm down. it is probably just hormones. secret deodorant now makes one that is not a prescribtion but it works just like one. just check that aisle in the grocery store and you will probably be able to find it. i heard it works really good. its in a gray box
Reply:first of all, calm down. Mayeb your hormones are making you sweat like this. I used to sweat kind of a lot but then I used secret gel deodorant and it worked. Mayeb you should test some different deodorants out. Also, calm down. Maybe you sweat when your cold because your body is shaking. Here is some tips: you should wear cotton clothing because it air out more and that will get rid of smell and wetness a litte, wear light colored clothing because you can%26#039;t see sweat that well and it doesn%26#039;t attract the sun as much, wear one deodorant on one armpit and on the other one try a different deodorant. when you get home from school, see which one smells better and is dryer. keep doing that until you are happy. Maybe you also have sweating problems. If you sweat more than you think you should, ask your gym teracher if this is ok and if she doesn%26#039;t know or yo don%26#039;t want to ask her, then go see a doctor. Of course this is not a big thing to deal about because if you do have sweating problems than they have good medicine. Also you can wear a cami under your shirts so the sweat will go on that instead of the visible clothing piece. Hope I helped and good luck!!
Reply:use REXONA 24 hours protection deodorent. use it after shower....believe me, it works 100%.

Healthy Deodorant Alternative?

Deodorant in the supermarket is not good for us. What are some natural alternatives? Is deodorant in natural food stores any better than mass-market deodorant (i.e. Tom%26#039;s nature based products). I%26#039;ve heard of people using lemon and baby powder. What works best and is the healthiest (besides going bare-skinned)?

Healthy Deodorant Alternative?
A regular deoderant and one not combined with an antiperspirant is safe to use. Antiperspirants have been touted by some to cause cancer but this is not the case- they can clog your pores, but do not cause cancer. I am allergic to many deoderants, so what I have always used is the crystal type deoderant and I recommend it to many people.
Reply:Actually If You Get Degree Spray Deodorant It make Your Underarms Pretty Soft And They smell Good.
Reply:You should try Bert%26#039;s Bees brand of deodorant. It works great for me, and it%26#039;s all natural. It contains a great blend of essential oils! Health food stores sell it, and they have a website.
Reply:I didn%26#039;t know that deoderant isn%26#039;t good for us.
Reply:I mix baking soda with cornstarch, equal amts. then add a little baby powder, apply it with a puff. Dab it off before you dress. Works great.
Reply:baby powder
Reply:ya... don%26#039;t do anything that makes you sweat... lay in bed all day, take a shower all the time
Reply:Adidas for women is actually healthy it doesn%26#039;t have the cancer causing ingredient.
Reply:mouth wash works well just rub some into your hands than apply it to your pits.
Reply:There is a deodorant product called %26quot;Naturals anti persperant%26quot;. It doesnt contain any of the harmful ingredients of other deodorants! Believe it or not, health food stores products more times than not still have some harmful ingredients in them! I know of a company that uses all 100% safe ingredients in their products! Check out the website below for more information!
